Goverance Policy

Scouting UK’s rules are defined in POR (Policies, Organisation and Rules), every Scout group must follow these rules. In addition, some groups find it helpful to have a Governance Policy.

The advantages of having a policy like this, ranging from making it easier to apply for grants and funding through to defining and explaining how 42nd Bolton is run so it's fair and understandable for everyone. 

Below is a copy of our policy which can be revised by the executive committee.
