OSM

We use OSM (Online Scout Manager) to manage communications, events, payments your child's details and their badges. When you join a section the section leader will need to invite you to that section's parent portal where you can create your account and access all the information.

Our group's waiting list is also managed through OSM.

Getting Started

1. You will receive an email from your leader inviting you to create an OSM account. Click the link in the email to create an account.

2. This will take you to a login screen . Click “Create Account” and fill in your first and last names, as well as the email you have registered with Bolton 42nd Scout Group (this will likely be the email you receive regular communications from).

3. Once you submit your initial details, you will receive a confirmation email. Click the link in the email to verify your account. You will then be able to create a password and login.

4. Once you login to the OSM website (OSM Login), you will be directed to the “Dashboard”.

5. From here, using the left navigation window, you will be able to view some of the features available.
